Soft Pretzel

The soft pretzel from Northwood Foods and Gift Enterprises is the first item that catches my eye. This pretzel is big and soft just like you would expect to find at your local storefront that sells the fresh baked pretzels. If you are a fan of cinnamon, this is for you. Yum!

Beer Mustard

What goes with pretzels? Mustard! This Explore Local gift box includes a 9oz glass jar of Brew City Beer Mustard from PS Seasoning. It's a smooth but robust garlic brown flavor. This mustard will taste great on a grilled Bratwurst or use as a simple dip for those stick or rod pretzels you buy at the local grocery store. However, the cinnamon pretzel included in the gift box goes better with a vanilla icing dip.

Dip & Cheeseball Mix

Next, we find the Wildwood B.L.T. Dip & Cheeseball Mix from Wildwood Specialty Foods. This is a dry mix. You can really see the ingredients. There are nice size pieces of tomato, onion, bacon bits and leek, as well as, garlic and parsley. The package includes instructions for hot and cold dip preparation and how to make a cheeseball.

Leather Coaster

Popcorn

This popcorn on the cob is something the kids will love. Or we should call it microwave popcorn on the cob! Explore Local subscription box has added this interesting little surprise that will be fun for the entire family. Because this product from Lambs & Thyme isn't soaking in oil and chemicals like the store bought microwave popcorn, it's healthier. It even comes with a handy bag to catch the popped popcorn.

Both the jar of mustard and the ingredients for a cheeseball or dip can be served during the upcoming holidays as snacks or appetizers. The soft pretzel is big enough for sharing and the microwave popcorn will make a fun family “cooking” event. The leather coaster is high quality and if you can part with it, would make a nice gift.
