Mix Box Dessert Subscription-November 2022 Review

Mix Box by Homemade Bakers Club is a monthly dessert box subscription. A new dessert recipe is featured each month. This is not your ordinary cookie a month box. You will receive the ingredients for unique desserts. Whoopie Pies, dessert bars, fruit filled cupcakes, and more are to be expected. Those who subscribe will receive an email with the next month's dessert. You can opt to swap for cinnamon rolls if you don't want to try the featured dessert.

The Ingredients

Cocoa

Sugar pack.

Flour pack.

Make sure to read the labels carefully. This is vanilla for steps 3 and 6.

Packed brown sugar.

Coconut

Chopped pecans.

Chocolate chips.

These are the items that I had to purchase from the store: Butter, half and half, and eggs.

Batter.

Topping being heated on stovetop.

Baked brownie and coconut and pecan topping.

Mix Box November 2022 Review

The German Chocolate Brownies are a hit with my family. As you can see, I made only half with the coconut and pecan topping. Neither of my kid's like coconut. I can say that I'm not sorry that I get all the coconut goodness to myself.

The brownie is moist with a decadent chocolate flavor. My kid's love their half and even made brownie sundaes with vanilla ice cream. The homemade coconut topping is easier to make than I expected. It turned out to be just the right amount of thick (for lack of a better description) and adds just a bit more moistness to the brownie. It's a great combination.
