Review: Muse Kits February Box

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I decided to create a card for my son who is away at college. For me, creating this illustration was challenging but relaxing, and fun. I got my inspiration from my French Bulldog and the drawing of the squirrel on the back of the cartoon guide.

I sketched my drawing with the mechanical pencil and was glad to have the eraser. Boy did I have a lot of erasing to do. The alcohol pens blended nicely to create additional colors. They hid the eraser marks as well. I was worried that the liner pens would smear when using with the alcohol pens but it stayed put.

I didn't use the artist pencils on this project but plenty of supplies are included in this Muse Kits box to create many works of art. I'm sure I'll use them on a future project.

My son misses his Frenchie and he enjoyed getting this cartoon drawing of him.
