The October gift box arrived in November due to a back order issue.
Let's check out the October Smartass & Sass box
This is an awesome box. It would be perfect for a travel subscription box. Not sure it really captures what you are about to find inside. Possibly Smartass & Sass is going for a lighthearted “life is a trip” theme.
What's inside the box?
The post card with the QR code is new this month. In the past, a brochure with all the product information was included. The QR code post card is a fantastic change.
A pair of socks with a raccoon eating what looks like a chocolate chip cookie. These socks make no sense and are not funny.
Handy little caps for your wine bottle. If you have to lay your open wine bottle on its side in order for it to fit into your refrigerator, these wine bottle caps will come in handy.
Coloring pencils come in a nice container. However, don't accidently put these in your kid's backpack when they need new colored pencils for school. Read the container.
The epsom bath salt comes in a full size jar and smells really good. It reminds me of a peach bellini.
Who doesn't need more paper clips? These feel like good quality as well.
2023 desk calendar. This is not an educational calendar. There is no information about birds. Each page has a picture of a bird along with a snarky quote.
Makeup brush cleaner and pads.
Review of Smartass & Sass, October 2022 gift box
This was not my favorite box from Smartass & Sass. It seemed as though “things” were just randomly thrown together. The box is a mix between spa and office. Pick one idea and go with it.
The socks are good quality but they make no sense. Am I missing the joke? The pencils should have a coloring book to go along with the theme. I am not sensitive to language but every single item included profanity. It was profanity overload.
Many gift boxes include sample size. On the bright side, not this one. I appreciate that every item was full size. The epsom salt smelled wonderful. Everything is this box has a useful purpose.
I have enjoyed Smartass & Sass in the past. Every box includes items that give me a chuckle. I'm looking forward to unboxing my November box.
