Universal Yums December 2022 snack box provides an interesting array of foods. Typically, you receive snacks from one country; however, December's theme is “Everywhere”. The idea is to celebrate the holidays around the world.

Universal Yums December Box
Usually, the box is blue and white. The red color is very festive.
At first, the postcard looks like a holiday greeting. Without further inspection, there is no hint as to December's country.
Universal Yums Educational Booklet
The theme is Everywhere! Several countries are represented in this snack box.
The sticker is different from past boxes. Usually an “I traveled to” sticker is included.

Universal Yums December 2022 Review
This is a fun box. Universal Yums took some chances with their choices for December, and you have to love that confidence.
My family and I did a taste test of the different snacks. Here are how the treats rated:
Salted Egg Yolk Popcorn-Taiwan
Yuck! No one liked this salt and egg yolk popcorn. It has a salt and sugar flavor with the crunchiness that you expect of popcorn. The flavors do not go together well. No one liked this snack.
Side note: The popcorn smells terrible. I put the package in a resealable bag along with the other items to keep fresh. The smell permeated my pantry so powerfully that I had to throw it away.
Spicy Mustard Flavor Potato Chips-Czech Republic
The potato chips are nice and crispy. They have a texture similar to Frito Lay potato chips. The spicy mustard flavor is prominent but not too spicy. Both my husband and I like these potato chips. Our sons do not like them because they don't like the taste of mustard.
Strawberry Triffle Bonbon-United Kingdom
This sweet treat is almost sour. My mouth is watering just writing about it. There is a distinct strawberry flavor. The texture is similar to taffy. Everyone liked this snack. It is my oldest son's favorite because he likes more sour flavors.
Trufee's Popcorn Truffles-France
The truffle is smooth with a nice chocolate flavor. The popcorn added a sparse crunch but does not add flavor; however, it adds interest. Upon my second tasting, this treat ended up being my favorite. Everyone liked this chocolatey snack.
Mini Raspberry Linzer Cake-Switzerland
This cookie is a combination of crispy and flaky. It doesn't feel like it is going to fall apart in your hands, but it also isn't hard to bite through. Nutmeg is very prominent and almost overpowers the raspberry filling. The combination goes well together. My family is not anti-nutmeg and while this cookie is good, we probably will not eat anymore.

Apple Pie Cookie Bites-Netherlands
The cookies are about the size of a US nickel. They are very crunchy and have a cinnamon apple oatmeal flavor. My husband, son, and I liked the flavor. My husband and son enjoy the crunchy texture; however, I tend to like softer cookies. My oldest son loves cinnamon and enjoyed that part of the cookie.
Nougat Yogurt Bar-Greece
This is a sweet bar with pistachio pieces. The texture is like taffy that breaks down quickly and has a slight pistachio taste at the end. There is nothing offensive about the taste or texture, but this snack wasn't anyone's favorite.
