Mix Box by Homemade Bakers Club December 2022 is a White Chocolate Cranberry recipe…..if you can find cranberries. This is a festive and season appropriate dessert. Unfortunately, the stores in my area ran out of cranberries. If you find yourself in the same situation, keep reading to see how I improvised.

Mix Box by Homemade Bakers Club is a monthly dessert subscription. All of the nonperishable items are sent along with a recipe to make a different dessert each month. You have the option to choose from a list of different recipes if you don't want the upcoming dessert. Keep reading to learn more.

Homemade Bakers Club Mix Box December 2022: Review

Cranberries would have been fantastic in these cookies had I been able to purchase them. Unfortunately, my grocer ran out and did not restock. The white chocolate frosting would have been the “cheery on top of the sundae” for these cookies. Next year, I'm going to buy my cranberries early and freeze them.

Substituting with chocolate chips works well and my family loves the cookies. Half of the cookies were not frosted as I didn't know how sweet the combo would be. If you crave that extra sweetness the white chocolate adds, then go for it. Otherwise, leave the frosting off.
